Hello guys,

I am a newb to broker. I have an issue with one of a developers in our dev env. The developer has created new message flows and wants to deploy them..however, there are a bunch of old flows which he no longer intends to use. He has been asking me to delete the message flows and I can do it.But my teamamtes want ot push back on dleteing the flows and are asking the developer to take care of it himself. The dveeloper doesnt have delete access to the flows. Is there any other wat the flows can be removed without me as an admin deleteing them?

Sure. Delete the whole EG or the whole Broker.

But of course, that also requires admin access.

Or if the flows that are being deployed are "the same" flows, then the old ones will get overwritten.

This is pretty basic stuff.

There's the CMP, or mqsideploy with a -d flag.

As a one-time clean up task, I'd just remove them yourself & have done.

Thanks a lot guys.Thats All I needed to know. It appears the developer is lazy to run the mqsideploy command asu said and we are lazy to delete hem from the toolkit..We just didnt want to set a precedent with the developers.

Or doesn't know about it because they do deploys via the Toolkit.

You said that. No-one else did.

That as an administration team you'd be prepared to administer the developer's environment?

Whatever works in your set-up. I prefer more control.
