Hi All,
We are upgrading to MQ 7 from MQ 6 and moving to AIX from Windows in our environment. I have created a multi instance queue manager on AIX.
I am trying to add the queue manager on the MQ explorer i have running on my local desktop. It runs under my login name(LDAP -Active directory authentication).
I have also added the same user to the mqm group on AIX where the queue manager is running.
When I try to connect, I am getting AMQ4036 - Access not permitted. What am I missing or doing wrong?
Regards,
Prakash. |

And when you googled AMQ4036, what did you find? _________________ I like deadlines. I like to wave as they pass by.

got it to work...i had my local login id set in the MCAUSER attribute for the SYSTEM.ADMIN.SVRCONN channel. I removed it and was able to connect to remote multi instance QM on aix using my local MQ explorer.
Thanks,
Prakash. |
