Hello,

I've got 12 q's clustered over two seperate servers. My application works fine.

I am using Terminal Services to acces the 2 Windows servers hosting the clustered q's. I'm using MQSeries 5.2.1.

I am currently using Web Adminstration Services to create/view q's as I cannot view them via MQSeries Explorer under Terminal Services.

Is there a know problem with using TS and MQ or am I going mad

Thanks

Mitch

Here is the short answer:
Q:Does MQSeries support Microsoft Terminal Services?
A: MQSeries does not support Microsoft Terminal Services.

See http://www.developer.ibm.com/tech/faq/individual/0,,2:26033,00.html for this information.

Maybe some else has it working though...
Cheers,
Vicky

There is a trick.
If you want to work with MQ via Terminal Services, then you need always connect via TCP ( MQ Client or telnet).
For example, show your local queue manager in MQ Explorer like remote using real hostname and port.

Hi,

There is a known problem with accessing MQseries through Terminal services. This has been documented in quite a few web sites as well
