WMB 7001, MQ7, zLinux (SLES) v11, Toolkit/Explorer on Windows XP
I have enabled WMB security in our environments. I have removed the 'mqm' id from the MCAUSER field of the SYSTEM.BKR.CONFIG channel (I know that was stupid. It's a long story involving team leadership) and have left it blank. Now, anyone who establishes a remote connection to the broker or queue manager, will be given the access his/her id is authorized for.
Now, my question is:
Is there a way to log the user ids that are accessing the broker/QM and the actions being performed by them?
Not in the eclipse log of the user's local Windows XP system. But in the zLinux system where the broker resides.
If not from the broker side, can I do this using MQ channels?
Channel exits and third-party software would be my last choice. First, I would like to see if this is possible from the tool itself.
Thanks in advance. Yay! It's Friday! |

For MQ itself, you can enable command events. |
