Hi Forum,

I have downloaded and place the MSL01 pack and after that i am not able to find what to do... Can you please let me know step by step. I am using MQ 7.0.1.0 on solaris.

And you either didn't find the documentation that comes with the supportPac or download the documentation that should also be available on the download page?

Installation Instructions

1. Extract: # tar xzf msl1.tar.gz.
2. Read the licenses: # less LI_<your language>.txt Lic_<your language>.txt LA_<your language>.txt.
3. Install: # rpm -uvh MSL1-1.0.1-1.noarch.rpm .


Oh, look.

It was hiding.

Maybe you should continue to review the material that comes with the supportPac.

I've not used this personally, so I don't know.

I have a reasonable guess how to use it - but then, I have some training in linux system administration and so I have a reasonable idea of how *anything* can be configured to start up when the system starts up.

Maybe you should talk to someone locally who has similar training.

After you un-tar the package, look for a readme type document. SupportPacs usually come with documentation.

I presume you searched through the supportpac page and didn't find a similar supportpac for solaris.

If you didn't find a similar supportpac for solaris, I suspect that there isn't one.
