Hello All,
Any suggestions/thoughts on this ?
Task: Creating the default broker MB7BROKER and the queue manager MB7QMGR. failed.
If you can manually fix the issues that caused this task to fail, do so and then click Retry.
If you click Retry, the wizard starts the task again.
If you click Roll back, the wizard rolls back all completed tasks, if roll-back is possible.
To establish why the task failed, examine this wizard's log file which can be found in the workspace
directory C:\Users\mqsi\IBM\wmbt70\workspace\.metadata.
Here is the DefaultConfigurationWizard log copied

BIP8087E: MB7BROKER already exists and cannot be created.
An attempt was made to create a component that already exists.
Ensure that the component name you have selected for creation is the correct one, and investigate the reasons why this component name already exists. Additionally, if you are running on a Windows platform and mqsilist does not report the existence of the component the component's service may still be running. This may be because of a previous delete failed to complete and left the component's service running (this can be caused by an open Administrative Tools - Services window, which prevents the deletion being completed.) If the component's service still exists try deleting the component after resolving any relevant issues and retry this create command.]

An error occurred while the command was running; the command has cleaned up and ended.

Check for some common problems:
Does the user id have the correct authorities (for example a member of the mqbrkrs group)?
Is any operating system limit set too low to allow the command to run?
Is the environment correctly set up?
Correct the problem and retry the command, otherwise, contact your IBM support center.

"C:\Users\mqsi\IBM\wmbt70\workspace\.metadata\CommandAssistantWizard_Broker.log" |
and make sure you are running as a user with the necessary permissions.
And that you've rebooted after install. |

Thanks a lot. It really helped me.
I managed to create default configuration in Message Broker 7. I need to find out the name of the default configuration manager.
Can you suggest, please ?

Why? What use do you intend to put this information to?
Because whatever you're doing isn't going to work. WMBv7 doesn't have a configuration manager. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
