It looks like a channel transaction, not an XA transaction. It was not shown in dspmqtrn (because it was not an XA transaction), but IMHO it should be shown via INBOUBT status of the channel.

You said you stopped the cluster channel(s)... I wonder if you stopped it while it was indoubt? That's a guess. But what happens when you start the channel again?

Hi mvic. None of the channels were in-doubt, they were all RUNNING. I just did a stop chl() status(inactive) until there was no chl status at all.

When all channels started later on they were again all RUNNING ... and the in-flight tran was still there.

Hi Michael - yes, would have been nice to get hold of the actual msg, but the tran has now been backed out.
