I have a 32-bit WMB 7.0.0.1 installed on my 64-bit Windows 7 platform.

I am trying to install WMB 7 FP2 (file 7.0.0-WS-MB-WINIA32-FP0002.exe) but it fails with the following message:

The installer is unable to run in graphical mode. Try running the installer with the -console or -silent flag.

I tried running " 7.0.0-WS-MB-WINIA32-FP0002.exe -console" but it still runs in graphical mode and I get the same error.

The Event Viewer shows the following two messages:

A request to disable the Desktop Window Manager was made by process (mqsisetup.exe)

The Desktop Window Manager was unable to start because composition was disabled by a running application

Any ideas on how to resolve this? I've been scouting online and I can't find the same problem reported anywhere else.[/list]
