Okay.. so MQSC wont work - (to retrieve the actual SSL information used by the QMGR.)
*But how about - setting up a Server / Client connection and doing the Handshake.

(1) The client sends a request to the server

(2) The server sends the Server Certificate (actual) back to the client.

But how would you get the server certificate details on client side? (or would it be sniffable?)

MQ does not use SSL in a different manner than any other SSL application. If it did, it would not be called SSL....
