I have an environment where websphere from 2k server talks to workflow server in AIX. All of a sudden I received timed out errors from WAS. When checked the the MQSeries ( For Workflow Server in AIX )logs, found the AMQ7469 error.

The error message reads as follows

"The log space for the queue manager is becoming full. One or more long-running transactions have been rolled back to release log space so that the queue manager can continue to process requests."

Do I need to increase the number of log files. How to go about doing it in AIX.

Can any of u help me solve this.

thanks
