Hi, I am trying to find if Websphere Message Broker v6.1.0.5 is compatible with Windows 7. Can someone help me on this?
The binaries I have are of the below versions.
WMBv6.1.0.5
MQv6.0
DB2V8_1
Please recommend. |

It may or may not be compatible.
It is not supported.
There's an easy way to find out what configurations are supported - check the System Requirements for the product. |

Portions of system requirements are "minimum requirements" - things like diskspace and memory.
Portions of system requirements are "exclusive requirements". That is, ONLY the relevant pieces are supported.
So where this says "operating systems", it means ONLY those listed.

Windows 7 IS NOT SUPPORTED for anything other than Broker v7. |

| Thanks for your prompt response. I have anyhow raised a PMR with IBM. Would like to know if they have done some testing on this and can give us a report. I will update this post as soon as I get the response so that it will be helpful for others. |

The response from IBM Support will be that it IS NOT supported and that there are no current plans to support anything other than Broker v7 on Windows 7. |
