If you read a message from a queue with RFHUtil(c) and write it to a file, it does not write the contents of MQMD.ApplIdentityData.
Is this a known defect? Is there a workaround? Or does it work like this on purpose? |

What version of rfhutil?
Mine works fine. V7.0.2. _________________ Never let the facts get in the way of a good theory. |

rfhutil V7.0.2
Thanks, fatherjack, you helped me to find the workaround.
The thing is, if you read a message that has something in Application identity and write it on file, application identity is not written.
But if you write something in application identity, it is written. I guess this was how you tested it?
The workaround is simply to copy the text from application identity, then place the cursor in the field and remove everything with backspace (to make rfhutil notice that the field has been edited?). Then paste the contents back and write the file. |
