Hi MQ Experts ,
If I have DISCINT set on Cluster sender to x and Cluster receiver x-10 , what will be resultant discint at cluster sender (CLUSSDRB and CLUSSDRA) after channel handshake.Just want to understand , if the value specified over Cluster receiver channel takes priority or lowest value of discint .

Thanks

This is an easy thing to test (experiment). When you tried this in a test environment, what were the results?

Thanks bruce .
CLUSSDRA by default picks up cluster receiver definition .Just got hold of play pen environment . (We cannot make changes in our test or prod env.. they seem to be very sensititve ) .. When I experimented , It looks like even CLUSSDRB is picking up discint value cluster reciever channel definition independent of whatever value mentioned in manual defined cluster sender channel . . Is this correct ?

Yep. CLUSRCVR channel definitions are used by clustering software as templates for the automatic creation (and replacement) of CLUSSDR channels.

Elaborating a bit...

CLUSSDRA - A cluster-sender channel by auto-definition. A cluster receiver definition has been received from the partner queue manager and used to create an auto-defined channel.

CLUSSDRB - A cluster-sender channel by auto-definition and an explicit definition. A cluster receiver definition has been received from the partner queue manager and used to override the manual.
