Sorry for the dumb question. (I'm under the impression that delimited messages are only possible with TDWF as of v2.1)

If I need to use MQSI v2.0.2 and require to process a pipe delimited variable field length message.

e.g.

Field1|Field2|Field3|

Is there any alternative to using the NEON nodes?

It is possible to walk a string in ESQL directly and parse out fields... You would essentially use a loop and the input variable and a series of subsequent variables...

There is an an ESQL function that allows you to locate the next occurance of a character in the string... It gives you the offset form the beginning of the string... Creat a loop and walk the string untill you don't find it anymore.

Not efficient but possible.
