Messages are not being triggered from MQ Server queue to mq client system folder.

Error:
Unable to obtain account details for channel MCA user ID.

WebSphere MQ was unable to obtain the account details for MCA user ID 'mqm'. This user ID was the MCA user ID for channel client.channel1 on queue manager PRODB and may have been defined in the channel definition, or supplied either by a channel exit or by a client.

Ensure that the user ID is correct and that it is defined on the Windows local system, the local domain or on a trusted domain. For a domain user ID, ensure that all necessary domain controllers are available.

Please suggest

I am not certain of the details of your issue. It is not clear (to me) what "triggered from MQ server queue to mq client system folder" means exactly.

But the error you quoted is very clear:
Quote:

"mqm" will never work on a Windows machine. By default, there is a local Windows group called "mqm". You cannot have a user name in Windows that is the same as a group name.

Setting an MCAUSER to "mqm" is a very bad idea anyway.

Perhaps if you provide a bit more detail of your setup, we can give you more advice. Thanks.

I mean to say....we have a data sitting in the queue(which need to be triggered and all triggering details are given). Its a windows system.

The triggered data should be written in to another system(targeted folder in unix server). There we have mq client.

I see the error in windows system when I was doing researching to findout why the data is not being triggered.

note: we had a utility to write from queue to file.

The MCAUSER is set in the channel definition, presumably channel PRDA on queue manager PRODB. Display that channel to see the MCAUSER.

I'm terribly sorry , but I still don't quite understand your process. You are triggering an executable on the Windows machine based on messages in a queue (on qmgr PRODB)? Then the data is written from Windows via a utility to a file on the Unix filesystem? In that scenario, there is no need of an MQ client on the Unix machine. ("Data" don't trigger, btw; executables are triggered based on the trigger conditions of the queue.)

Please do provide more explanation, if you like. Or perhaps one of my worthy associates will have a comment.

As my colleague replied, messages don't get triggered; queues get triggered when message(s) arrive on a queue, AND the triggering attributes have been met.

So, you are saying that a message has arrived in a triggered queue, and the trigger is not firing?

What is the server queue?

What is the client system folder?

Are you saying that the server queue is triggered? Is the triggered queue a transmission queue? Or some other type of queue?

Where did you see the error? Was there an AMQnnnn message number with the error narrative that you posted?
