DB2 instance : [db2inst1] wasinst
- FMC33660E Failed to establish a working DB2 environment.

attempting to install WF 3.3.2 on AIX 5.0 and create a new configuration. trying to build a new runtime DB in an existing instance.

FMC33210I Select Category Menu:
s ... (X) Server
i ... (X) Runtime Database Utilities
c ... (X) Client
j ... (X) Java Agent
w ... (X) Web Client
a ... all
n ... none
x ... Exit Select Category Menu

- Configuration of Runtime database ...
u ... ( ) Use an existing Runtime database
n ... (X) Create a new Runtime database

l ... (X) Local database
r ... ( ) Remote database

Maybe you can try this.
Most likely it may not work.

add this line to the root's .profile
. /home/db2inst1/sqllib/db2profile
(I got the above line on page 65 of Installation Guide manual 3.3.2)

Can you please post how you solved this

Also, it's not a good idea to have a web-client component in your server configuration. Every time you have to put on a Service Pack, you will have to delete the entire configuration. If it's a stand alone configuration and test box it should be ok but otherwise...
