I have seen some excellent notes on this procedure, and I think they are even published on the internet somewhere...

I just don't remember where, and I simply won't have time to go look for them until at least tomorrow.

Maybe you can spend your own time in the meantime looking for them? I think they were tagged somehow with the words "InfoCenter"?

@mqjeff

Over the Internet it is showing me the below restrictions

Restrictions
The following restrictions apply when you debug a message flow:

* You cannot debug flows that you have deployed to a 64-bit execution group; only 32-bit execution groups are supported by the flow debugger.
* You must use the same version of the broker and the Message Brokers Toolkit; for example, you cannot use the Message Brokers Toolkit Version 6.0 to debug a message flow that you have deployed to a broker at an earlier version.
* You should not debug message flows over the Internet; there might be security issues.
-------------------------------------------

It would be helpful if you provide at least some notes or links where we can enable debug mode for 64-bit Execution Group on AIX Broker

Thanks
Raj

So you have read the documentation, then?

You didn't indicate that. You just asked a question that suggested strongly that you hadn't.

Maybe you should use a usertrace instead of trying to run the debugger.

Maybe you should upgrade to version 6.1 or v7, which should easily allow you to debug a 64-bit EG, since all egs are 64-bit except on Windows...

Then as well you will be able to open a PMR after Broker v6 goes out of support in two weeks.

I have also seen the same things. I am currently using 6.1.0.4 with a support pack IA06. Right now I am doing the trace enabler only but, my confession is to enable debugger , then it will be easy to work on the toolkit which is more familiar than any.

I have missed something to say :

Currently I am working on Remote Desktop, my execution group and database is on 64-bit only. So, here I have to enable debug, will it be possible to run like 32-bit like giving debug port number and selecting execution group.......

Well, well, if you are working in 6.1.x.x why quote the manual for 6.0.x.x?

What does the infocenter for release 6.1 have to say about debugging?

As my esteemed colleague mentioned, you'd probably be faster on this by running the e.g. in debug mode, collecting the trace, switching back to normal mode and formatting and evaluating the trace...

but this is not the issue here everything is on server with 64-bit, nothing in local. I took everything (code, bar files, E.G, Queues & Queue Managers). except database which is also in 64-bit. I am not aware of it how to take full database from server. Can u suggest something now

Sorry I was not clear enough.
When I said running the eg in debug mode I meant in user trace mode level debug, hence collecting the trace.

Have fun
