I need to use the same queue for both read and write using a CICS program. what should be the MQOPEN options if I open the queue once for the IO.

well, from the open options written down in the manuals, what are the possibilities you figured out?

I added the MQOO INPUT and MQOO OUTPUT options to the OPEN OPTIONS in MQ OPEN call. This worked.
