Hi I need a code in esql : COndition

Example i ave string like this xxxx_123434

I need string that is after _.

So please help me out .. how to declare and use variable in ESQL . Please provide the code for the same

There is function in ESQL called SUBSTRING. It has parameter called AFTER.

It is strange you could not find it and need help.

Unexpectantly basic question

Take the pieces of your question, and refactor:

put

substr(ing) string and after

together, and you almost have the answer...

or look at the last example in the SUBSTRING function in WMB 7...
