Yes, OAM is an installable service - which means it is optional. |
Bruce, I think your answer to that question could be a little confusing to phani_16 bearing in mind what has gone before - there is a difference between installing/uninstalling and deleting. _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys. |

Yep. I presumed that the intent of the OP was to demonstrate disabling OAM - for some mysterious purpose; but the OP used the term delete to mean disable. Silly me.
I doubt that IBM supports the concept of deleting any service or component other than by the documented method.
Fiddling with the Windoze registry is dangerous, and often a career-limiting move.
(A somewhat similar discussion here regarding deleting vs. disabling channel (definitions) often comes up here. _________________ I like deadlines. I like to wave as they pass by.

Hi Phani,
If the issue with Windows qmgr qith error as "An expected stanza in the configuration data is missing or contains errors." Try to run command
amqmdain regsec
I had issue with starting windows qmgr with above error, but when i ran the command to secure the registry ti worked and qmgrs started normally.
