Hello all - I'm curious regarding which OS platform that forum readers are generally working on. Reason being we're having some discussions internally regarding which OS is the better platform for the message broker platform.
I know that there is no 'right' platform, as this will always depend on local circumstances, skillsets, etc. What I'm interested in is what are the most 'popular' platforms for Message Broker. I'm also aware that in terms of cost per transaction, AIX on Power7 is currently the best platform, depending on a large number of variables.
Have setup the poll to run for a week. If for whatever reason the poll does not work, please reply if you feel comfortable sharing. |

What about those sites that use more than one H/W type in Production? _________________ WMQ User since 1999

Every time you reinvent the wheel the more square it gets (anon). If in doubt think and investigate before you ask silly questions. |
