Hi guys,

I have a question regarding the number of instances on node.

For additional instances, we selected "Use Pool Associated with node" and the number of instances we set it to 10.

After deploying the bar file, when I click on the flow and see the properties, I see additonal Instances as 0(zero).

I am not sure why it shows zero though I mentioned it as 10..

Can you guys pls throw light on this.

Thanks
Chris

This might tie in with my post http://www.mqseries.net/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=56405 where I've noticed that the config manager is not updating the information that it holds about the flows deployed on the broker following a deploy.

I would suggest that you perform a mqsireportproperties to check what the value actually is on the broker. i.e

mqsireportproperties [broker] -e [Ex Grp] -o AllMessageFlows -r > out.txt

If you look at the output in the text file this should show the node instance setting...

Because you have not specified any additional instances of the flow itself.

You have created a separate pool of threads to process the input on the node, all of which will feed into the default instance of the flow.

Thanks a lot mqjeff. I executed mqsireportproperties and now I am able to see the additional instances as

additionalInstances='10'
componentLevel='node'
