Hello all,

I want to use a MI queue manager with GPFS. I did a first try with a NFSv4 server but it failed because the NFS server did not support lease-based locking (in my case the NFS server uses mandatory locking and this is not supported with MQ)
Before investing in a GPFS solution I would know if someone is using this king of scenario. I've an AIX 6.1, MQ 7.0.1.3 and GPFS will be last version which is 3.3

The IBM tecnote: https://www-304.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21433474

doesn't list AIX 6 or GPFS.
Any input from you would be great!

Well, it lists GPFS but only with AIX 5.3, not 6.

Open a PMR with MQ to get clarification. Or better yet, make it your IBM Sales rep's problem.

Thanks mqjeff,

I already did that (pmr) and the answer was not tested but should work. That's why I posting here asking for "real life" situations.
