Hi all,
I've played today with dspmqrte between two V7.0.1.2 Qmgrs, QMA and QMB
No problem with a standard setup.
When there is a non-privilegied user ("usermqm" for instance) in MCAUSER on receiving channel on QMB side, the last status I get is "AMQ8659: DSPMQRTE command successfully put a message on queue XmitQ". No errors messages.
I suspect an authority problem on SYSTEM.ADMIN.TRACE.ROUTE.QUEUE on QMB, but I have not find any information on rights to give to "usermqm" user.
Any pointers ? _________________ lmd_at_demey-consulting.fr - http://demey-consulting.fr - Paris, France.

Thanks for this pointer.
Without MCAUSER on the RCVR channel, everything is working fine.
I'm still looking for an official document stating if some (and what) setmqaut is necessary to use dspmqrte when a non-administrative MCAUSER is specified and RCVR channel ...
May be it's the same problem than APAR IZ78326 (we hit this during initial setup) :
Quote: |
AMQ9586: Program cannot create queue manager object. The
The attempt to create object '%CHLBATCH.6' on queue
manager 'RCVRQMGR' failed with reason code 2035. |

USERS AFFECTED:
Users of RCVR/CLUSRCVR channels whose MCAUSER attribute is
configured with a non-administrative user ID. The problem was
introduced in WebSphere MQ V7.0.1.0.
A side-effect of this change is that specific authorities like
+crt, +dlt, +get and +put were needed on the
SYSTEM.CHANNEL.SYNCQ in order to create, delete and open the
scratchpad object.

The solution is in 7.0.1.4, not yet available.
