I am trying to create a Fixed length message set in which i have 3 elements of which only one of them is mandatory for each row of data retrieved from database.

Ex : If 10 rows of data retrieved from database ,then based on different conditions in a random order, one of the 3 elements will be populated from the message set fro each row of data

Please help me in resolving this issue

So what you're saying is that, for each row, one of three elements will appear?

And never more than one?

And each of the three elementsis exactly the same size as your message is fixed length. Correct?

Please provide at least 3 example messages ( one example for each element ) Also, please explain how a receiving application will identify which of the three elements it has received.
