I have a certificate expiring and I need to replace it with the same named certificate (ibmwebspheremq....). In ikeyman7 Do I recreate the request (personal certificates) or do I create a nbew on (personal certificate requests). If I try to create a new one it gives me an error that one by that name already exists. Do I create a new one and rename it when I get it back from the CA??? |

1. Create A and B key stores;
2. Create a request in the A key store, and send it to your CA for signing;
3. Receive the signed certificate;
4. Set the SSLKEYR attribute to 'point' to the A key store;
5. Refresh security and check all is well.
Next time the cert is due renewal, repeat the above but for the B key store. When you are sure it works, 'clean' the A key store in preparation for the next time.
Depending on your site/CA standards, you may be able to regenerate a request using the existing key, but I normally use the A/B system because it covers all bases. _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys. |

I tried the solution of creating the new keystore, that was replied to this request and it worked! Happy, Happy, Happy and Thank-you |
