Hi,

Queuemanager and Broker stopped unexpectedly, when we realised and tried to start

we are getting this error
The file system at location /MQHA/qmgrs/<QMGR name>/amqprobe.amq is read only’

we restarted the linux server and try to start the Queue manager, now we are not getting any response and Queuamanager is not started.

we checked the status by using dspmq its says Queuemanager ended unexpectedly.

please suggest me how to solve this problem and start the queue manager

did anyone fiddle around with user and or directory permissions? did you check these permission ?

do you think, that a lack in user permission (read only directory) can be solved by restarting the machine?

what did you find in the mq logs after you retried to start the queuemanager without success?

where else did you check for errors?

what machine? what os? what versions?
