Yes i want system hostname on which Broker is installed.
Actually I am creating a error handler and in that i am addind these fields (server name, instance ID) so i want to know how can i fetch there values at runtime . for ex to fetch Brokername we write SQL.BrokerName command at right side of SET statement in ESQL and this gives us the name of broker.
I think the instance Id the OP is thinking of comes with the multi-instance broker (see as well multi-instance qmgr).
However as smdavies so nicely put it, the host name should already resolve that. Writing a little bit of java to determine the host name should be java 101.
