Hi,
I downloaded the message broker V 7.0.0.1 and tried updating the V 7.0.0.0
I ran the exe but after that when i opened the tollkit, its still showing same version:
WebSphere Message Broker Toolkit - Message Broker
Version: 7.0.0
Build id: 7.0.0-20091028_2100
(c) Copyright IBM Corp. and others 2000, 2009. All rights reserved.
This product is Built on Eclipseâ„¢ (http://www.eclipse.org)
Is something else we need to do?
I also upgraded the broker and that went fine. |

Did you do the update via the installation Manager? _________________ WMQ User since 1999

Every time you reinvent the wheel the more square it gets (anon). If in doubt think and investigate before you ask silly questions. |

You do realize that the broker update and the toolkit update are 2 different "animals" and need to be done separately.
Use the installation manager to update the toolkit. _________________ MQ & Broker admin |

Read the right hand side in the installation manager. There should be an explanation on how to update off line. You will still have to download a bunch of things but you can ask your IT department to do those downloads for you. _________________ MQ & Broker admin |
