Hello All,

We had a requirement in which data just passed from one stage(Windows) to another stage(HP-Unix) with out any transformation through MQ. Here the data comes in english + chinese format and after coming to MQ its not being transferred in the same english+chinese format to the target. No probs with english, but with chinese being converted in to some unknown special characters format.

Could you please help me in guidig me how to send the data in the same format like english + chinese and the paramenters that needs to be set up at channel side.

If you don't want any transformation, don't request MQ to do conversion ! ie. Do not use MQFMT_STRING format when putting the message and/or do not use MQGMO_CONVERT option when getting the message.

If you have both English and Chinese character codes in the same message then it might be difficult to associate it with a single CCSID that MQ understands and can convert correctly.

And do not specify CONTERT(YES) on the sender channel.
