Hi,
We are facing a strange problem. Till yesterday, we are able to launch and use the control center from the Config Manager PC itself and carry out deployment etc. But from yesterday, when we try launching the control center, it tries to launch but does not get launched. In the task manager also, we do not see any javaw.exe process. We have re-booted the PC, but with the same result.
We can launch control center from another PC and connect to this config manager normally. But for security purpose, we want to use only this PC as both config manager and control center.
The memory usage as per the task manager is normal on the config manager PC. This PC does not host any other application. This is dedicated only to host config manger and control center.
Also there are no errors in the Event Viewer. Even the mq series and mqsi directories do not contain any error /log for this failure to lauch control center.
Can somebody suggest, if any settings might have changed on the PC which might have caused this? |

You could try starting the Control Centre using the 'mqsilcc' command....documented on pages 154-155 of the Administration Guide. |

Possible, classpath or path on your computer was changed. Compare with other environment if you have it.
Also if all com.ibm...jar-s are on the place. _________________ Best regards.

Hi All,
The problem is solved now. We found the following 3 files in c:\..\MQ Series Integrator\Tools seemed to have been corrupted
panes.ini, workbook.ini and working.cfg.
So we just moved these files to a different back up directory. When the control center was launched again, it was successful and created the above files newly again. |
