Hi,
I have two queue managers A and B running on my system. I have created a cluster TESTCLUSTER where both A and B are both full repositories. All the cluster sender and cluster receiver channels are in running state.
dis clusqmgr(*) qmtype status
1 : dis clusqmgr(*) qmtype status
AMQ8441: Display Cluster Queue Manager details.
CLUSQMGR(A) CHANNEL(TO.A)
CLUSTER(TESTCLUSTER) QMTYPE(REPOS)
STATUS(RUNNING)
AMQ8441: Display Cluster Queue Manager details.
CLUSQMGR(B) CHANNEL(TO.B)
CLUSTER(TESTCLUSTER) QMTYPE(REPOS)
STATUS(RUNNING)
I have defined a queue CLUSQ on qmgr A and this queue is shared in TESTCLUSTER.
When I try to put a message to CLUSQ, I get 2189 - MQRC_CLUSTER_RESOLUTION_ERROR. No error when doing MQOPEN. Happens only when I try MQPUT.
Any thoughts on what's going wrong here?
TIA |

on which queuemanager do you try the mqput? on that queuemanager, displqy qcluster, display clusqmgr, display cluster channels to verify everything you need is there and queuemanagers are properly connected. from the display output you showed this is not clear to me. _________________ Regards, Butcher |

Check the CLUSTER value of the QLOCAL - ensure there are no blanks or typos in the name you have inserted... _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys. |

Ah!.. My mistake. I had put in a space in the last cluster name in QLOCAL. Thanks a lot for pointing out. |
