Gang ,
This is the task to be accomplished , unfortunately one of the application to which MQSI feeds data expects the string [ ESQL DataType STRING] data to be right justfied. I have 300+ fields in that copybook and by default MQSI assigns "left justify" to the justification attribute in CWF tab.
Now if i have to make use of MQSI to do the right justify for the field (eventhough same can be achieved thru ESQL , that approach doesnt seem pretty) , i have to go and manually change justification proerty for each of the element , which would consume considerable amount of time and couldnt tolerate to work with Control center which is not friendly enough ( Hope of most of the windows users agree with that) ...
As part of the workaround , thought of directly editing MQSI database itself (MQSIMRDB). Questions are
1) Is it advisable to do so?
2) Couldnt able to find any column which corresponds to Justification property in any of the tables? ( But could see a column called ATTRIBUTE FLAGS which is represented as INTEGER , guessing that MQSI uses bit pattern to store each of the attribute , like 1 represents ON and 0 to OFF)
3) What would be the easier & efficient way of doing this?
thanks for ur help

Ram,
I think you should try chaning the Justification to Right into exported MRP file. _________________ Kiran
