Hi,
I am using log4j for logging. I read about this User Exits in WMB.
I just want to know which is better for logging or auditing whether its User Exits or Log4j?
Which performance is better ?
Could anyone suggest me on this as I am new to this.
If user exits are enabled then you can see the performance impact slightly but again depends on the user exit code and logging complexity level.
If you are using log4j, do you have any design constraints or performance issue etc? _________________ IBM Certified System Administrator - WebSphere MQ V6.0

I just wanted to check which is better in performance either User Exit or Log4j.
Think its better to go for log4j as it has Java Log4j features.
If somebody has more information on this please do share so that it will help us to decide on the design as to which is better either User Exit or log4j for auditing, logging and monitoring.
