Hi All,

When I am opening my Message broker toolkit I am getting the below error

Quote:
The eclipse executable launcher was unable to locate its companion launcher jar

I am using Ver 7.0 of Message broker.

Earlier I was having no issues when opening the toolkit. After Java update, I am finding this issue.

Can you guys let me know, why am I getting this error and help me in resolving it.

Thanks

What PATH / CLASSPATH changes resulted from this update?

What level of Java did you go from / to?

Does the eclipse the Toolkit runs under support that level of Java?

I see the below value for Path and Classpath variables.

PATH = C:\Program Files\IBM\WebSphere MQ\Java\lib;%systemroot%\system32;%systemroot%;%systemroot%\system32\wbem;c:\program files\alky for applications\libraries\;c:\program files\checkpoint\fde;c:\program files\common files\divx shared\;c:\program files\ibm\gsk8\lib;C:\Program Files\Intel\WiFi\bin\;C:\PROGRA~1\IBM\SQLLIB\BIN;C:\PROGRA~1\IBM\SQLLIB\FUNCTION;C:\PROGRA~1\IBM\SQLLIB\SAMPLES\REPL;C:\Program Files\IBM\WebSphere MQ\bin;C:\Program Files\IBM\WebSphere MQ\tools\c\samples\bin;C:\Program Files\QuickTime\QTSystem\

CLASSPATH = .;C:\Program Files\IBM\WebSphere MQ\Java\lib\com.ibm.mqjms.jar;C:\Program Files\IBM\WebSphere MQ\Java\lib\com.ibm.mq.jar;C:\PROGRA~1\IBM\SQLLIB\java\db2java.zip;C:\PROGRA~1\IBM\SQLLIB\java\db2jcc.jar;C:\PROGRA~1\IBM\SQLLIB\java\sqlj.zip;C:\PROGRA~1\IBM\SQLLIB\java\db2jcc_license_cu.jar;C:\PROGRA~1\IBM\SQLLIB\bin;C:\PROGRA~1\IBM\SQLLIB\java\common.jar;C:\Program Files\Java\jre6\lib\ext\QTJava.zip

I have updated Java to v 6 update 22.

I tried removing the existing toolkit and tried to install a new one. It gives me the below error

Quote:
JVMJ9VM015W Initialization error for library j9gc24(2): Failed to instantiate heap; 1G requested

I followed the steps provided by IBM for the above error.

Quote:

Still it gives me below error
Quote:

Could not create Java Virtual Machine

Did anyone get this error ? Can you guys help me in resolving this issue?
