HI ALL<

I am trying to set JmsConstants.CCSID_UTF16 using following lines of code


int test= JmsConstants.CCSID_UTF16;



requestTextMessage.setJMSType("MessageText");

requestTextMessage.setIntProperty("JMS_IBM_Encoding", 546);

requestTextMessage.setIntProperty("JMS_IBM_Character_Set", test);


But it is thrrowing javax.jms.JMSException: JMSCS0006: An internal problem occurred. Diagnostic information for service was written to 'E:\Vinay\eFileUSWorkSpace\MQSeries\FFDC\JMSCC0013.FDC'. Please terminate the application as the product is in an inconsistent internal state.


I am using WMQ 6.0 version jars .. do i need to use version 7.0 jars to over come above issue .. or do i need to change any thing in abve lines..

Please help me..

you cannot use V7 functionality and coding with V6 jars.
Also you should set the CCSID on the connection Factory, or in JNDI on the Destination.

I am using below code

//Create a MQQueue Factory Object
fact = new MQQueueConnectionFactory();


trying to to set characterset using

fact.setCCSID(1200);


but i am getting error as below
ErrorText : A transcoding error occurred while parsing the input bitstream
ErrorNumber : 5019
