Hello,
A member of cluster was stopped definitively without update cluster.
It is not possible to re-start this queue manager.
How can i update the cluster properly ? |

If you want to remove the stopped queue manager from the cluster, please read the Clustering manual paying close regard to the RESET command. Also, I suggest you put in place a procedure whereby NO queue manager in a cluster can be stopped without reference to the WMQ Admins, and for that matter NO queue manager can be stopped without reference to the WMQ Admins. _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys. |

So, you stopped a queue manager that was part of a cluster of qmgrs, yes?
I'm not sure what you mean by 'without update cluster.'

Why do you believe it is not possible to restart this queue manager? Are you receiving an error? If so, post the error messages here.

What do you mean by update the cluster? Update with what? A new version/release of WMQ software? New object definitions?
Please offer some details. Please be specific. _________________ I like deadlines. I like to wave as they pass by.

RESET cluster command will do this. The RESET command is well documented in the WMQ Clusters manual, AND the InfoCenter. _________________ I like deadlines. I like to wave as they pass by.
