HI!

Is there a way to generate a GUID from with WMQI? I need to populate a GUID tag before passing the XML on to another queue.

You could use UUIDASBLOB or UUIDASCHAR function, if I understand what you mean by GUID.

Thanks! What I mean is Globally Unique ID. I know there is a Visual Basic Class that generates one based on the Date and Time and the MAC address. Will the two functions you suggested do that?
