(I wish there was an emoticon for putting on a lifejacket...)
Ok, using Toolkit 6.1.0.5 on Windows XP.
A separate project to mine are developing broker flows and due to the insanity of their architecture and management (did I say that out loud??) they want to build their bar files from a command line. There's no Ant, no automation and no good reason I can think of but there you are.
They've found this link and are trying to get it to work but are failing with a java.io.EOFException. They've latched onto the section in the InfoCentre which says:
Quote:
You must run the command from the eclipse directory
This apparently isn't helping because "eclipse isn't started in our command shell". They've tried
(the last appears to be the path to the eclipse that got installed with the Toolkit) as well as sundry other things they tried to explain but my eyes glazed over.
These methods have proved fruitless and they've turned to me for help. I've tried to a) help & b) care but have mostly failed in both. I also think they can smell my fear....
Does anyone have any suggestions or advice? A link to a document entitled "Eclipse for Dummies"? "Getting Over Your Java Phobia"? "Creating BAR files with White Text Commands"?
My plan is a big screen shot of the Broker Administration perspective and some trout, but I feel honour bound to at least pose the question to the wider community.
I thank you all for your time. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
