Hi MQ Experts ,
Recently we have upgraded to MQ V7.0.0.1. The output of command
dis clusqmgr(*) cluster(ABC) appars differently when compared to MQ v6
MQ v7.0.0.1 o/p
AMQ8441: Display Cluster Queue Manager details.
CLUSQMGR(XXX) ALTDATE( )
ALTTIME( ) BATCHHB(0)
BATCHINT(0) BATCHSZ(50)
CHANNEL(XXXX.C1) CLUSDATE(2009-07-30)
CLUSTER(ABC) CLUSTIME(18.28.10)
CLWLPRTY(0) CLWLRANK(0)
CLWLWGHT(50) COMPHDR(NONE)
COMPMSG(NONE) CONNAME(XXXX(51412))
CONVERT(NO) DEFTYPE(CLUSRCVR)
DESCR(MQ03807) DISCINT(6000)
HBINT(300) KAINT(AUTO)
LOCLADDR( ) LONGRTY(999999999)
LONGTMR(1200) MAXMSGL(4194304)
MCANAME( ) MCATYPE(THREAD)
MCAUSER( ) MODENAME( )
MRDATA( ) MREXIT( )
MRRTY(10) MRTMR(1000) MSGDATA( ) NETPRTY(0)

where as MQ V6 ouptut
AMQ8441: Display Cluster Queue Manager details.
CLUSQMGR(XXX) CHANNEL(TO_ABC.C1)
CLUSTER(ABC)
Is this new feature of MQ V7 ? This is causing lot of incovinience in trouble shooting MQ problems . Is there any way to over come or we need to get used to this |

How and why is it causing inconvenience? And V7.0.0.1 is way back-level so you should be considering V7.0.1.2 as a minimum. _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys. |

Thanks , it is - as seeing through long output is some thing we are not used to in MQ V6 and consider cluster of 10 queue manager , output will go beyond the screen
Ok this seems to be fixed in MQ V7.0.1.2 when queried with filters like conname status deftype qmtype , it works . Same command gives complete channel status output in MQ 7.0.0.1 . However dis clusqmgr(*) cluster(ABC) still displays complete output in MQ 7.0.1.2 as well . |

So change your script to specify which attributes you want returned... _________________ MQ & Broker admin |
