hi

we use mqclient 5.1 on winNT. the client writes log-message in the nt-eventlog for example if it loose the connection to network.

is there a possibility to stop the logging?

In 5.2 and 5.3 you can filter out messages. I really don't know if this was available in 5.1 or not, but I suppose you can give it a try.
Create the following registry key with regedt32:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\IBM\MQSeries\CurrentVersion\IgnoredErrorCodes
In the value field, put a list of codes you want to ignore. The code is the message number, for example AMQ3045. The list is an array of null-terminated strings. Regedt32 has a list editor to help you build the list.
