Hi Guys,

I'm pretty new to the BMM scene and have, what I'm sure is a stupid question to all you gurus out there, but if anyone could help, it would be greatly appreciated.

Here it goes:

How does one delete a Node in the Management Console?

Our Configuration Manager and Management Console are terribly out of sync and I would like to clean them both up, but it seems if you remove a node from the Configuration Manager, it doesn't automatically update the Management Console.

The 'delete node' option is greyed out in the Management Console.
I'm logging in as an Admin user with full rights to everything.
I've tried in non-edit and edit mode... still no luck.

Thanks!!
Kyle

Open a ticket with them and ask them for help.
You may have to review what you're doing with the management console separately. And before deleting anything there make sure that no system is reporting as if it were the system you would like to remove.

Have fun

Thanks I have opened a ticket already, just waiting for a reply.

The systems I'm trying to remove don't exist anymore

If "delete node" is greyed out, make sure you're in edit mode - click on the pencil on top.

This product seems a bit buggy.

I closed the management console, re-opened, went to edit mode and was able to delete.
