Hi

will any installation log file gets generated in unix environment which shows the success or the failure information while installing the MQ. if yes please let me know where i can find that installion log file Thanks

Depending on the flavour of UNIX, in the installer medium, e.g. smitty, RPM Manager etc. Is this a serious question?

i have installed MQ on solaris using pkgadd where will the installation log file for mq can be found.?

Have you tried the man pages for pkgadd?
