I have a flow which received messages from a CICS/COBOL application.

I have created a CWF messageset (this is a new area for me) and a minimal flow. I want to test that my flow can successfully parse messages in the structure expected (as well as behaves correctly when not).

I would like to be able to test my flow WITHOUT having to get the mainframe guys to fire off a message.

I can do it using RFHUtil with a message that has been saved, but I would really like to do so from the Broker test client. But I can't figure out how to create a message either as a text/binary file or typed directly into the edit box that is in the correct format (as per the copybook).

Can anyone suggest an approach please.

Stay with your save message RFHUtil or MO71... It's most probably your fastest way.

You can save a message from RFHUTIL into a a file and then load it into the test client.
