Hello all,

I created a new MQ service that is running with no problems at all.

The problem is that I need to change the '"start args" parameter with a file path to -a "D:\Program files\...

MQ seems to have a problem evaluating the string once I try to use a folder name that has a space in it. I tried double quotes, single quotes and I have not been able to correct this. Has anyone seen this problem before? I am running MQ V 6.0.2 on Windows 2003.

On every version of Windows & with software other than WMQ.

Don't try to explain it, just use the 8.3 version of the file name with the ~ in it.

I just found the solution by doing one last search of this website.

Needed to use "Progr~1" in place of "program files". Simple enough!
