Hi,
I am migrating my application from WAS 6 to WAS 7 and we use MQ 7.
The problem I am facing right now is when MDB receives a message, the jms header values are all set to null or default values and don't have any values I set. My application need jmstype to process the message.
I have tested with standalone client to send/receive message, everything works fine, I could see the all the header details.
In MDB, I get the message body but not headers.
JMSMessage class: jms_text
JMSType: null
JMSDeliveryMode: 2
JMSExpiration: 0
JMSPriority: 4
JMSMessageID: null
JMSTimestamp: 0
JMSCorrelationID: null
JMSDestination: null
JMSReplyTo: null
JMSRedelivered: false
Please advice me if I am missing any thing.
Thanks,
Ram |

Is your MDB using an MQ7 or MQ6 client? Are you using a client connection?
What kind of compatibility setting have you set on your qmgr? _________________ MQ & Broker admin |

Thanks for your reply.
In my QMgr, I tried the default setting - 'Compatibility' and also 'Force RFHDR' settings for the queue to which my mdb was listening.
I didn't understand your question about client connection. We use MQ7 and there is no MQ6 on my machine. |
