Hi,

We are having an interface which transformes messages from SAP to Legacy. In one test data we are getting a special character from SAP. In this case the transaction is failing with the following error:

“{[2488]Error detected, rethrowing}.{[2488]Error detected, rethrowing}.{[2595]Invalid characters}.{TDS}.”

This is ok. Now the problem is All the transactions coming after this are failing eventhough they do not have a special character.

What could be the reason for this? is this a problem in Message Broker Tool kit or something else. Please let me know; this is causing so many transactions fail in production.

Q1: How are they failing? With *exactly* the same error?
Q2 : Are all of these 'transactions' part of some larger transaction ( a single file, or a single input message)?

You'll have to be more specific in your problem description.

Could you please provide some logs.

Is it failing because your queue manager is in a different ccsid ??

May be you can first try applying the correct ccsid to the input message and then convert it to the legacy format.
