Hi ya. Using WMB, created an MQ message with RFH2 header. Saved that message off to disk using RFHUtil. Tried to read message from disk using RFHUtil and RFHUtil abends with the following message: "RFHutil encountered a problem and needs to close." Tried using both RFHUtil and RFHUtilc and same issue with both. Posted below is the debug error report:

Anyone know any work arounds to be able to continue to use RFHUtil? It would really help my testing efforts to be able to use RFHUtil. I can jury-rig some other way to test my flows, but RFHUtil would be the best if it could work.
Thanks in advance for any pointers to get RFHUtil to work.

Hi fjb_saper, I have WebSphere MQ version 7 installed on my laptop. Thanks for your help on this. Just fyi - I went ahead and opened a PMR 06825 because it seems to me a code update is needed. Lance

You want to save messages to disk and reload - use MO71 - this program does everything.
Seriously I am still finding features after using it every day for the last 2 years.
IBM should let Paul Clarke spend some more time on this and add WMB features! |

I doubt your PMR got very far, as IH03 is Category 2.
You should contact Jim McNair. Presumably his email is in the package somewhere. |

Thanks to all for the ideas and responses. Support was able to replicate the problem and a fix is underway for RFHUtil. MO71 also looks very useful, I'll have to become more familiar with that one. Ciao' Lance.
