I have a lot of WIN2K MQ5.3 servers which I contemplate upgrading to MQ6.0.2.9 - I realize that even if this plan gets implemented I will still be out of support OS-wise. Most of these servers have 1GB of memory and some have 4GB. There are a few servers with only .5 GB. I would like to upgrade all of these servers from MQ5.3 to MQ6.0.2.9. I see that the QB for Windows MQ6 mentions that I need 1/2 GB in order to run MQExplorer (Eclipse). I could find no other mention of memory requirements for MQ6. Do you think I should be ill-advised to upgrade the 1/2 GB MQ5.3 to MQ6.0.2.9?

MQ 6 will run, but there could be a performance hit for only having 1/2 GB on some systems. Even Win2K will suffer and there will be a fair amount of page file swap activity. How about throwing in another bank to make 1 GB? Memory is very cheap. _________________ Glenn
