Hi All,

when i stop message flow from message broker toolkit admin section it really stops the message flow but that flow stays in the memory, if i open task manager in windows i can see that process is still in the memory. how could i completly stops the message flow (should be removed from memory also).

the reason is, on my development machine there are so many message flows and talking alot of memory.

Thanks in Advanced.

Shahid Hussain.

Stopping a flow does not remove it from memory

Only deleting the flow from the Execution Group does that.

How are you determining that the Flow is still in memory?
OR are you possible getting confused.
Every EG you have will have a corresponding DataFlowEngine process in memory.
If you want to save memory try deleting some of the flows you are no longer using.

It's the JVM per execution group in WMB 6.1 that hogs memory (150 mb+). So having fewer EGs will help.
